Photography meets Impressionism

Trees symbolise growth, vitality and the close connection between humankind and nature. My photographs consist of multiple exposures, comprising between 15 and 20 shots. As I move around the tree whilst taking the photographs, a painterly, almost hand-painted effect is created.

The streets are often buzzing with life and offer great subjects for my street photography. I like to use ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) or multiple exposures.

Feel free to join me at a restaurant. I prefer to sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather.

With my impressionistic landscape photography, I aim to capture the mood of a scene, often through soft, blurred lines created by intentional camera movement (ICM). In this way I would like to invite the viewer to a new, emotional experience of nature.

This series of images features photographs created using deliberate movement, multiple exposures, and post-processing techniques. Based on real natural elements, the photographs are reinterpreted through impressionistic imagery, alienating the original subject matter. Rather than focusing on documentary accuracy, the images concentrate on emotional intimacy and atmospheric density.

Urban landscapes are fascinating mixtures of nature and human architecture.

Here I would like to show individual facades or entire cityscapes.

Water has a magical attraction for me. It plays no role whether it is a river, a lake or the ocean.

Hamburg is a city renowned for its stunning architecture, vibrant harbour and rich cultural life.

Construction machines have a lot to tell, especially if they have a few bugs. People probably think I am crazy when they see me walking around such an old machine and taking pictures. The multiple exposures are made up of 10 to 15 photos.

There are many different means of transport and I enjoy capturing the various motifs, sometimes in motion, in my impressionistic way.
